Amy and Sam are engaged!!
YES! We have another wedding. This will make 6 weddings in 2 years between Dan's and my family (3 sister's for me, 3 brother's for Dan). The big date is August 13th and we're so excited for them. Sam fits right in. We have all been so blessed to find men that fit in and put up with our hagginess. AND we are so blessed to have a cute sister-in-law who married my only brother, that fits right in and puts up with all of us too! Congratulations Amy and Sam!

So.........I tried and it was too rough!
So March was a crazy month for us because I started training for my job with JetBlue. I went Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to Midnight. I hired some cute young women in my ward to help babysit the kids each day from about 3:00 until Dan got home from work. Then my amazing husband would make dinner, clean up (even loaded the dishwasher each night), help Lindsay and Zane with their homework, give the kids their baths on Bath night and get them to bed. I seriously grew to love this man more and more after watching him sacrifice so much for our family during that time. We only saw each other for about 20 minutes on our 10th Anniversary. But went to dinner and a movie a couple weeks later. We're still hoping to do something a little cooler than that in a couple months to really celebrate!
The training was good. I loved it! I met so many awesome people in my class and became really good friends with Robyn Reynolds who lives in my ward and just happened to get hired and had training at the same time as me. We loved car pooling together. I passed my tests with 100% on all but one and was so excited to do this Reservations job!
Back in February, JetBlue changed their computer system and their website. Things have been crazy for the company because the crewmembers are trying to figure out what their doing on the "new" system (the system is actually really old...it's what other airlines have been using for years). And the customers are having major problems with the new website and the hold times on the phones are crazy! So a lot of the customers are very grumpy and frusterated once they get on the phones with us.
If you combine those issues with being a new crew member trying to learn the ins and outs of the airline industry, along with poor communication with Supervisors and a strict attendance policy, it makes for a miserable first month on the phones. I actually lost weight when they put us on the phones at the end of March. I was so stressed and felt like I was going to throw up right before my shift started everday. Dan said it was like I was zoned out for a few weeks. I dreamt about JetBlue, I thought about JetBlue 24-7 and was on edge all the time. The extra money was great and the shift I got wasn't too bad either (Sat, Sun, Mon and Wed from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm), but I decided it wasn't worth it. I've never had a job where I had so much stress and anxiety. Believe me, when I worked for the title company for 13 years, there was plenty of stress, but I had a boss that backed me up 100% and I could go to him with anything. I just didn't feel that way with JetBlue. Don't get me wrong...I think they are a great company. I just came into the business at a really rough time for them and I'm sure (I'm hoping) it will get better, I just wasn't willing to wait around for it to get better. Also, Dan got a raise that was NOT expected at all that helped make my decision a lot easier. So I am really sad about quitting and getting that far into things but I am SO RELIEVED! I have enjoyed being just a mom and wife the past few weeks and maybe this is what I needed to help remind me of what I really need to focus on right now.
Oh and P.S., when I emailed my supervisor to tell her I was quitting, I never heard back from her. Classic!
