Definition of Croup: Croup is characterized by a loud cough that may sound like the barking of a seal and may be accompanied by fast or difficult breathing and sometimes a grunting noise or wheezing while breathing.
Well, Gavin has Croup again! This is 3 times in a year and a half. The other 2 times he was in the hospital for it. This time I caught it sooner, now knowing what it sounds like, and took him to the doctor the second day of the first signs. The doctor gave him a steroid pill and said, "this should keep him out of the hospital" which it has so far. Actually, when he woke up this morning his breathing was only a little tight and he slept all night which is a very good sign. I'm not quite sure why he is so susceptible (yes, I had to look up how to spell that word!) to it. The doctor I saw on Friday isn't our pediatrician so I didn't ask a whole lot of questions, but Gavin has his 2 year check up in a couple of weeks and I'm going to go with my list of questions of why, etc... Dan is in Las Vegas for a Computer (nerd) Convention for a few days. He says he's having a great time (of course he his. He's not at home with sick kids.). Actually this is his very first time going on the Vegas Strip. I warned him.....

Hi Heather! Oh my gosh! I'm sorry about Gavin! I was excited when I saw you on Ashley's blog! So I added you to my list! I only go thursday morning to Amy's class now! It got to hard to drive in the other days! I miss it though it's so fun! I hope Gavin is doing better!

Ok so my friend Amy told me that if you set up a bogus email and password for your self than after your 100 people you just give the bogus email to the ones after the 100. They use that one. She said her friend emailed all of the people after the 100 and told them to us that to get into her blog. I like the idea because I would only be giving the email to the one I wanted and then the whole world wouldn't be looking at my blog. I hope that make since.
What the croupe is right! That poor kid..... He was so delirious the other night fighting off sleep and all.

I'm glad you found me on here. I thought that I had sent you a message that I had one before, but I must have forgotten. I'm actually going to be in Utah tomorrow afternoon! I think my Mom even said that your Dad is going to pick me up from the airport to take me to Grandma's. My parents come in tomorrow as well - just later in the evening. (My husband can't make it because he is at recruiter school right now.) We're coming for Grandma's birthday and a Krey reunion. So, I am excited to see everyone because it has been so long!
