My little brother (my only brother) is a daddy! Matt and Lauren welcomed a new baby girl on Tuesday, August 26th, 2008. She is precious! I started crying when I saw this picture on their blog! In my family there are 11 grandsons and only 3 grandaughters (12 and 4 if you count Jenny's stepchildren, which we do). Lindsay was the last granddaughter born 5 1/2 years ago. There has been 8 grandsons since her. So this is a really big deal to us! Mattison was 10 pounds and 1 oz, 20 inches long. They ended up doing a C-section because obviously she was too big. They live in California, so we've only seen pictures. Lindsay is so excited to have another girl cousin and Zane is excited to share his birthday with Matti. I am so excited for you guys, Matt and Lauren! I'm so excited to come and meet little Matti in October!

we have the cutest little niece!!!! haha. we really need to get more pictures up for you guys...we got some really cute ones of her. but i think we are going to wait a few more days and get all the pics from matt. how exciting that you guys finally got a girl!!!! :)

I'm so happy for them! I think it totally hilarious that Matt (the ony BOY in the fam) has a little GIRL! Go figure!
Oh wow!! So exciting :) Apparently I need to play catch-up..everyone has kids! haha
