Fafan

My nephew, Nathan or Fafan (what Gavin calls him), came to stay with us last week for 5 days while Karen and Christian and most of the rest of my family went to Las Vegas for Freedom Fest. They have gone down there for the past few years and they record (video/audio) the speeches given, etc... and then make cd's/dvd's to sale. I still haven't been able to go (Dan hasn't been able to get the days off to watch the kids) but hopefully next year. So to help out Karen and Christian, Nathan came to stay with us. He was so good. He played down in our basement for hours (wish my kids would). Karen warned me that he wakes up pretty early (6:30 ish) which he did every morning except the first morning. He woke up at 4:45! He was wide awake, so I took him downstairs and he played with the toys for about 3 hours, until the rest of my kids woke up (I fell back asleep on the couch!). His favorite thing was the doll stroller. He'd put guys and cars in that thing and just walk around our play room. It was funny. It was fun to have him here. He thinks Zane is hilarious so Zane would do things to make him laugh, so cute! Love you Fafan!

This was the last day he was here. I think he was so ready for his mom and dad to be home. After his nap, he wanted to hold all 3 blankets he brought and his Eeyore. He was getting mad because he kept dropping them while trying to walk around. Poor kid.
