Swimming

Lindsay and Zane just finished their two week swimming lessons at the Lehi Legacy Center. Lindsay got to be in the same class as her best friend, Lydia, and loved it. She was never afraid to try anything and passed Level 1. I decided to do the Mom and Tot class with Zane, even though he's almost 4. He'd never had swimming lessons before and is afraid of the water getting in his ears and eyes in the bathtub. So I decided to do this class with him to make him a little more comforatable. It worked. He complained a few times about floating on his back and getting water in his ears, but his teacher said he is VERY ready for the Preschool class. He will now hold his breath and put his whole face in the water. It's been fun to see them get braver and braver each day. Zane would ask me everyday after class "are you proud of me mom?" How cute is that?
