Granger 25th BBQ

Last Saturday, we had a little BBQ/Pool party with some of our old friends from our old ward. A lot of people couldn't make it, but we still had fun. John and Ellen Curtis hosted it at Ellen's parent's house. They have a nice home and a fun pool. We had so much fun!

Blietschau Cabin Party

Last Friday and Saturday, we had a Blietschau Famliy Cabin Party (my mom's side of the family). We had so much fun. Some of us came up Friday night and spent the night, then everyone else came up Saturday for lunch and to play games. These first few pictures are of our Dance Party on Friday night! It was hilarious! Don't worry, I totally participated, even though I didn't get any pictures of it. In fact I got the party started with my classic "Roger Rabbit" and "Running Man". Heidi and I even clogged to "Cotton Eyed Joe" but Jenny wasn't there to clog with us so it wasn't quite the same. Dan slept in a tent outside with our 3 older kids and me and Brooklyn slept in the cabin. Of course, she slept all night. I stayed up until 2:00 am chatting and laughing with some of the fam. On Saturday, when everyone else came up, we had lunch and played "Nerts" and other games. We only had 2 mishaps: Richard's tooth fell out while eating a Werther's Carmel and Ger popped her knee out when attempting to dance at the the Dance Party. (It was pretty dang funny!).

3 weeks old!

Our sweet Brooklyn is STILL sleeping 6-8 hours every night! What a sweetheart! I took her back into the doctor to have them check her weight to make sure she had gained back her birth weight and she was 8 lb 12oz, so YEA, she'd gained it back plus 2 oz. Then I returned to the doctor 4 days later because she had a yeast infection on her bottom and she weighted 9 lbs 5 oz! She's getting so big too fast! I want her stay little for a lot longer! The blanket she's sitting on was made by Granny Annie.

Happy Father's Day

Father's Day was a busy one this year. We had to wake up very early to make it to Baby Harry's blessing at 9:00 am, which meant no breakfast in bed for Dan. We spent a lot of time with my family then went over to to Dan's family for more food and family time. It was a nice but tiring day. We love you Dan and are grateful for everything you do!

I love this picture. I still can't believe we have 4 kids!

Dan's Father's Day/early birthday present. It makes him feel manly!

While we were at Dan's parents, our kids decided to play with the gravel in the front yard, then decided it was fun to chuck it. We're not quite sure what happened, but we were inside the house (the windows were open in the house) and we suddenly heard a big POP! We ran outside to see our van window shattered. Because we're not sure who threw the gravel and what exactly happened, I didn't get mad at the kids (I know, I really surprised myself). Zane told us he was the last to throw them and was pretty upset that he might have been the one who did it. Since he's our sensitive kid and knowing him, he wouldn't do that purposely, I had a really hard time getting mad. It's just a window and no one got hurt (that's what I kept telling myself). $250 later, it is now fixed. So we've spent close to $1500 on repairs for our van since February. I love cars!!!
