10 Year Anniversary Pictures

WOW!!!! TEN YEARS ALREADY!!!!

Ten years ago on this exact day and time, I married the most amazing, handsome, funny, loving, caring, forgiving, compassionate man in the whole world! We were sealed for forever in the Salt Lake Temple on March 16th, 2000 at exactly 10:00 am. I will never forget the feelings I had kneeling across the altar from my sweetheart and the feelings I had that entire day. I felt so much love and gratitude towards our families and friends who supported us. It's still hard to believe it's been 10 years and that we have 4 amazing children. I am truly humbled and feel very blessed as I look back at the past 10 years of our lives. I often wonder what I did to deserve all that I have. Dan, I love you so much!!! Happy Anniversary Honey!!!

Happy 7th Birthday Lindsay!!!!

Exactly 7 years ago on this very day, at this very time I became a mommy for the first time. Lindsay was born at 6:36 am on March 16, 2003. It was bright and early on a Sunday morning and it was mine and Dan's 3rd anniversary! Best Anniversary present ever!!!! Linds, you've brought so much love and fun into our lives. You are so cute and growing up so fast. We're so proud of you and the choices you are making. We love to hear you tell stories and how dramatic you are in them. I don't know where you get it from.....hmmmmmmmm....Happy Birthday Lindsay Lou! We love you so much!!!

We've been celebrating Lindsay's birthday for a week and a half. On March 7th, we got together with my family and celebrated her birthday with them. She got an Easy Bake Oven with some cookie and cake mixes, some Disney Princess figures, some money and a cute Tinkerbell shirt.

Then this past Saturday, she got to go get her ears pierced!!! She was so nervous but excited. We've been talking about it for weeks. We just went to Walmart and the lady there was so cute with Lindsay. She made it so Lindsay wasn't scared. She and another lady pierced them at the same time. Lindsay sat on my lap and squeezed my hands. She was so brave and she LOVES them!!! And it only cost me the price of the earrings which was $10!!!

That afternoon we had some of her friends over for a Littlest Petshop Birthday Party. They had a fun time.

That night, we celebrated with Dan's family. She got a sewing kit, some Junie B. Jones books (from Grandma Tracey and Grandpa Kevin), a big pink bunny nd earrings (rfrom Trevor and Liz), a Nerf gun and purse (from Josh) and a gift card to Claire's (from Mike and Brie).

On Sunday, we had her family party. We have a tradition where we do a treasure hunt for around the house for the kids to find their big gift. She got a BFC (Best Friends Club) Doll. It's what she wanted and she LOVES her!

Happy 60th Birthday DAD!

(we're making 6's, kind of, with our fingers representing 60)

On February 28th, my dad turned 60!!! I can't believe he's so old! Hahaha! Just kidding Daddy! For his birthday, he and my mom drove down to Arizona to visit Jenny and Ben for a few days. Then drove to California to spend some time with Matt and Lauren. The had a fun trip. When they got back, all us adults went to dinner at the Olive Garden to celebrate and the next day we all celebrated with the kids. Happy birthday you old man! We love you!

Brooklyn 9 months

Our baby is 9 months old!!!! She is growing and learning so fast and I love it!!! She is hilarious and knows it. She brings so much joy into our home and the kids still adore her!!! They are always sad when we put her down of a nap or bedtime. She had her 9 month check up on March 5th....
Height - 27 1/4 inches (25-50%)
Weight - 18 pounds (25-50%)

She takes her socks off all the time and sucks on them!

She is still not a big eater, only drinking 6 oz at a time once in the morning and once at night. And she eats a small bowl of baby food mixed with rice cereal for lunch and dinner. We're not used to a little eater. I took this picture after she bumped the spoon that was in my hand when I was feeding her!

Gavin LOVES to play with her and dress her up!

She also got her first tooth on Christmas Eve. Since then, she's had one more next to it come in. They are both on the bottom. She wasn't even cranky...I didn't even knoe the first one had broken through.

She is not crawling yet but is rolling and scooting everywhere. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth.

She says "Dadadadadadada" sometimes, but today I heard her saying "Mamamama!" Hooray!!! She loves me!

She is always playing with her binky and doing funny things with it. She favorites are putting in her mouth upside down and putting the whole bottom part in her mouth. We laugh and that makes her laugh! She's so dang cute!

During the first week of January, Brooklyn had tubes put in her ears. She had 4 ear infections in 6 months and that is not a good sign. It is always hard to let your child be put under for a procedure, and the worst is when they are coming out of the anesthesia. She screamed and screamed. It was so sad. Zane and Gavin both had tubes put in and Lindsay had to have 8 cavities filled (6 of them had to have silver caps), so all of our kids have had to be put under before the age of the 3.

Wax on....wax off!

Back in the summer, we signed Zane up for 2 free private lessons in Karate. After the 2 lessons they informed us that Zane could continue in the Little Ninja's program for just $400 down and $90 a month!!! What the....? Sorry, no siree am I paying that much! Then a few months later we found out that UVU had some programs that you could enroll in for very cheap. Karate was one of them and it was at the same location he had done his Little Ninja class in. So we signed him up for 8 classes along with 2 of his friends, Eli and Alex. They had so much fun and it was fun watching Zane's confidence grow.

The Bean Museum

As a child, Dan's parent's took him and his siblings to the Bean Museum down at BYU quite a few times. I had never even heard of it until a few months ago. Dan took his Scouts there and when he came home he told our kids about it. Ever since, they have wanted to go. So they earned stickers in their reward charts and we took them down there one night. They loved it! I would recommend it and it's totally FREE!!!

They were scared to stand next to these bears!
